Summer & daydreams seem to go hand in hand. And at night, the earth turns into a magical land that you can go discover. It only took a homemade tent, a mason jar, and our favorite 6yr old, Lyric.

We recently spent a week in Hawaii on Oahu’s legendary North Shore and needless to say, it was heaven on earth. Every direction you look there is something beautiful to see. While there we met a 3rd generation Hawaiian fisherman (and big wave surfer) Kaiwi Berry. Check out Island View Hawaii for some epic photos of amongst other things, our fearless captain and crew swimming with sharks. No cages, just open water.
Kaiwi explained that because his family has been in the water around the island for so long, the ocean wildlife has become familiar to his boats engine. He wasn’t joking. In the 4 hours we were out, we saw at least 15 whales, 3 pods of dolphins, and sharks.
It was a good day.
